iPRES Radio

iPRES Radio is an informal, interactive online companion to the iPRES 2026 conference. Running daily from Tuesday 22 to Friday 25 September in two different time zones around the world, these one-hour Zoom sessions bring together digital preservation communities in their own time zone to talk about iPRES and catch up with what’s going on in Copenhagen.

Each session offers a chance to review highlights from the previous day’s conference sessions, watch selected recordings and behind-the-scenes content, hear from on-site correspondents reporting from Copenhagen, and share reflections and key takeaways with peers.

Open to both virtual conference attendees and anyone curious about digital preservation, iPRES Radio provides a front-row seat to the global conversation – no registration for the main conference required. It is a great chance to connect with the iPRES community, wherever you are in the world.

Whether you’re following iPRES from home, the office, or somewhere in between, iPRES Radio is your chance to stay connected to the conference and join the conversation wherever you are.

With iPRES taking place in Europe this year, iPRES Radio is designed to help colleagues in other parts of the world stay connected to the conference. To make participation as accessible as possible, there will be two live one-hour sessions on each day from Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th September: one for colleagues in Australasia/Asia-Pacific and one for colleagues in the Americas:

  • Australasia / Asia-Pacific: 03:00-04:00 UTC / 11:00-12:00 SGT / 13:00-14:00 AEST/ 15:00-16:00 NZST
  • Americas: 15:00-16:00 EDT / 12:00-13:00 PDT / 21:00-22:00 CEST / 19:00-20:00 UTC
*Some timings may be adjusted between now and event registration.

Hosted by the DPC
iPRES Radio is organized by the Digital Preservation Coalition as an adjacent event to iPRES 2026. As with all DPC events, the sessions are guided by our commitment to openness, inclusivity, and respectful discussion. Everyone is welcome, whether you are new to digital preservation or have been part of the community for many years.

Meet the iPRES Radio team
Throughout the four days, DPC colleagues and volunteer co-hosts will bring you discussions and daily updates from Copenhagen:

iPRES Radio sessions will be led by the DPC and a team of co-hosts and correspondents. We will curate daily content, share exclusive interviews and guide lively discussions with attendees.

  • Robin Wright (DPC) & Joshua Ng (Archives New Zealand), the people who first brought us iPRES Radio in 2022, will host the Australasia/Asia-Pacific sessions
  • Anna Perricci (DPC) and Sarah Middleton (DPC) will host the Americas sessions

The full hosting team will be announced soon, but as always, we’ll be bringing together colleagues from across the global digital preservation community to help make iPRES Radio a lively and welcoming space.

Interested in joining the team as a co-host or correspondent? We’d love to hear from you! Email us at sarah.middleton@dpconline.org.
