If you are in Copenhagen on Monday, 21st September, we would recommend that you sign up for a social dinner – an informal, casual dinner with other iPRES’ers.
Tables for approx. 10 persons are booked at different restaurants downtown Copenhagen. The restaurants vary in price and food culture and include at least one vegan choice. A few weeks before the conference we will open registration for these restaurants. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet old DP community friends or newcomers from around the world.
Social dinners are optional and payment is not included in the registration.
The restaurants and how to join will be announced via iPRES Newsletter.

The Municipality of Copenhagen will be hosting a welcome reception with pancakes and light refreshments at the City Hall which is situated less than a 15 minutes’ walk from DGI Byen. The reception will take place on Tuesday evening, 22nd September from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The City Hall is inspired by the City Hall of Siena in Italy and was built from 1892 to 1905, designed by the architect Martin Nyrop. The National Romantic features shine through throughout the building – from the richly decorated exterior to the detailed interior with hidden gems hidden in everything from murals to stair railings.
Today, the Town Hall is used for Civic Council meetings, weddings and national celebrations.
On Wednesday evening 23rd September Royal Danish Library will be hosting a reception at The Black Diamond which is the largest of Royal Danish Library’s buildings. This facility was Designed by Copenhagen firm Schmidt Hammer Lassen and finished in 1999. It was very quickly nicknamed ‘The Black Diamond’ because of its dark, shiny, faceted shape that reflects the sea and sky from the waterfront.
The reception at The Black Diamond will start at 5:00 pm with an award session in ‘Dronningesalen’ after which there will be refreshments and drinks in the Atrium until 7:00 pm.
