Sustainability at iPRES 2026

 Sustainability at iPRES 2026

At iPRES 2026 we are making an effort to be sustainable.

Flights, printed materials, to-go coffee cups, posters, all parts of a conference that contribute to a less than positive footprint. It is not possible to avoid all environmentally negative consequences of a conference, but making mindful and sustainable choices, when possible, is a good step in the right direction.

The iPRES 2026 Local Organising Committee is dedicated to maximising the lasting positive effects and lowering the climate footprint as much as possible. The iPRES 2026 venue, CPH Conference, is Green Key Certified and relies 100% on renewable wind power. The food at the conference is, whenever possible, local, seasonal and mainly vegetarian, as a way to minimize food waste and lowering the climate footprint.

Copenhagen is a city and a destination with a strong focus on sustainability and green transition, and as a way of contributing to sustainability and a clean Copenhagen, you can participate the iPRES “Plogging” event along with CopenPay on Wednesday morning. Between 8:00 and 8:30, you can join in for a walk or a run while picking up litter, and afterwards grab a coffee and a croissant.
